Tuesday preview: Euro area CPI, China rate decision in focus

The market spotlight on Tuesday will be on a final reading for euro area consumer prices.

At 0900 BST, Eurostat is expected to confirm that the bloc's Consumer Price Index rose at a clip of 2.6% year-on-year and core CPI by 2.9%.

Also due out, but at 0600 BST, is a reading on wholesale inflation in Germany covering that same month.

Overnight, rate-setters in China will announce their latest interest rate decision.

Investors will also be going over the minutes of the Reserve Bank of Australia's latest policy meeting.
